Trpimir Perkušić was born in 1993 in Split where he completed primary and secondary education. He speaks two foreign languages – English (active) and German (passive). He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Split in 2016 with excellent results. In 2021, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Mostar with the defence of his doctoral thesis on the topic “Liability for damages caused at work and in work-related situations” and thus obtained the PhD degree in the field of social sciences, scientific field of law, branch of labour and social law. From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a lawyer trainee. Since 2017, he has been employed at the Faculty of Law, at the University of Split, and since 2024, he has been working as an assistant professor at the Department of Labor and Social Law. During his studies, he received four Dean’s Awards for previous academic success, the Rector’s Award for outstanding academic achievements and the Dean’s Award for the best student professional or academic paper. He is a member of the editorial board of the “Collected Writings of the Faculty of Law in Split” at Faculty of Law, University of Split. He is a member of the working group “Teaching and Institutional Capacities” for the development of standards for the evaluation of proposals for self-analysis of the Faculty of Law in Split. He is a member of the Thesis and Dissertation Committee. He is a commissioner for the protection of the dignity of employees against harassment and sexual harassment. He is the secretary of the Department of Labour and Social Law and the Institute for Administrative Sciences. He is the author and co-author of several scientific papers in the field of labour law and has participated in several international conferences.
